Fresh Ground Pepper Announces its 2024 PlayGround PlayGroup

Fresh Ground Pepper announces seven emerging writers as a part of their 2024 PlayGround PlayGroup: Ella Lee Davidson, Phillip Christian Smith, Carolina Đỗ, Luz Lorenzana Twigg, Miles Orduna, Jayne Deely, and Simran Bal. These artists will be spend the spring in residence with FGP working toward a first draft of a new project.

Fresh Ground Pepper jump-starts, incubates, and celebrates new works of art by new and experimenting artists. We believe in rigorous exploration, delighted making, process over product, supportive networks, and the merger of artist and audience through the collaborative spirit of live performance. FGP works across mediums, boroughs, and communities to push live entertainment toward surprising new frontiers.
