Decentered Playwriting Hosts Book Launch at The Drama Bookshop

Decentered Playwriting, a new volume of decolonial playwriting techniques, hosted an official book launch and Q&A on March 5th at The Drama Bookshop with its three editors—Carolyn Dunn, Eric Micha Holmes, and Les Hunter—as well as a handful of contributors including Luz.

Decentered Playwriting can now be purchased here.

Luz’s chapter, titled Towards Self-Construction: A Filipinx Dramaturgy in the Diaspora proposes ethnoautobiography as used in the Filipinx diaspora as both a foundation for a Filipinx Dramaturgy as well as a method of decolonial playwriting for writers of all backgrounds. More information on the book can be found here.
